Big Sky Park and Ride

Big Sky Park and Ride is the free, green way to get to the ski lifts.

The Free, Green Way to Get to the Ski Lifts!

Big Sky Town Center and Skyline Bus have teamed up to provide skiers and boarders with an easier way to get to the slopes this winter.

Save money, gas, and time by parking your car on Aspen Leaf Drive at Town Center and riding a new Skyline Bus nonstop to Big Sky Resort. The bus will leave Town Center :35 past every hour from 8:35am to 9:35pm, plus one last bus leaving ten minutes later than normal at 10:45pm. The bus drops riders off at the base of the steps at Big Sky Resort’s plaza by the mall. A connecting bus to Moonlight will continue from Big Sky Resort.

The Skyline Bus makes regularly scheduled stops at Big Sky Town Center

The Big Sky Town Center bus stop is sheltered and centrally located. The Skyline service will return from Big Sky Resort to Town Center leaving at :10 past each hour, starting at 9:10am, with just one stop at Lone Mountain Ranch. Once back at the Town Center, skiers can enjoy a number of shopping and dining options, including four restaurants. To sweeten the deal, Grizzly Outfitters recently expanded their ski/snowboard equipment rental with their new Performance Rental shop, and they offer Moonlight Basin ski passes for sale. Park-n-Ride users will also receive coupons for Big Sky Town Center businesses, including Choppers Grub and Pub, Wokkee Mountain Kitchens, and others.

For parents with young children, the Park-n-Ride system could prove to be easier than parking at the resort, and parents with older kids can see them off at the Park-n-Ride area knowing that the non-stop ride up the mountain will get them right where they need to be, and back again safely.

How much easier could it be to get the perfect parking spot and reduce your environmental impact by riding the new bus? Watch for the signs on Aspen Leaf Drive or pick up your bus schedule at any Big Sky Town Center business, the Chamber office, and other Big Sky locations. For questions, please call 406-995-6287.
