A modern retelling of A Christmas Carol with additional characters and plot lines from Great Expectations\, Little Dorrit\, Bleak House and other great Dickens’ novels. \nEstella Scrooge is a Wall Street tycoon with a penchant for foreclosing. A hotelier in her hometown of Pickwick\, Ohio has defaulted on his mortgage and as a Christmas gift to herself\, Estella decides to deliver the sad news in person. Arriving at the Harthouse Hotel on Christmas Eve\, Estella discovers that the mortgage holder is none other than her childhood sweetheart\, Pip Nickleby. Always the humanitarian\, Pip has generously transformed the property into a refuge for the distraught\, disabled and displaced. A freak snowstorm forces Estella\, much to her dismay\, to take refuge at Harthouse. That night\, as it happened to her ancestor Ebenezer long ago\, she too is haunted by three visitations. DESCRIPTION:A celebration of the talented women of Big Sky highlighting creativity\, community\, and personal expression. \n6:00pm Gallery Opening & Social Hour \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7:00pm Performance Starts \nFounder and director Klaudia Kosiak came up with the idea several years ago to organize\, celebrate and empower the many talented women of Big Sky through artistic expression. Now\, the event is one of the most anticipated of the year. With support from Kosiak’s friends Jill Bough and Liz McRae\, the three recruited female artists of all ages to participate. “I want to promote women in Big Sky who are just living everyday life but want to do something special with their talents\,” Kosiak said.  “Many are hesitant at first\, but this evening is so special and once they perform for the first time\, they often want to do it again.”Each year proceeds from Her Gift/Her Creation support non-profits in Big Sky.
